to Samburu.
After
breakfast our driver will pick you from the hotel and drive you
Northwards to Samburu Nature Reserve, the home of the Samburu people.
The reserve is famous for its unique species like genenuk, the
Somali ostrich and the reticulated Giraffe.
Arrival in late afternoon. Check
in at the
Samburu
Serena
Hotel
. Have an evening game
drive. Return to the lodge
for dinner and overnight .

Day2/
6 MAY 07 Samburu National Park
Breakfast
at the Samburu Serena Safari Lodge. Then morning and afternoon game
viewing drive in the Samburu game reserve. The surrounding terrain is
renowned for rare game, -long necked gerenuk, gravy’s zebra,
reticulated giraffe, and the Beisa Oryx. Leopard is a frequent
passer-by. Game drives and bird watching safaris are the ideal way to
experience the native wildlife in its natural splendour.

7 MAY 07: Samburu to SweetWaters
Distance:
140 Km
Early
morning game viewing drive in the park returning to the lodge for
breakfast. After breakfast drive south to Nanyuki to arrive to arrive in
time for lunch at the Sweet Waters tented camp. After lunch continue on
the afternoon game viewing drives in the sanctuary.

the Sweet Waters Tented camp.

8 MAY 07: Nanyuki to
Lake
Nakuru
Distance:
Breakfast
at the Sweet Waters tented camp, this morning
depart with picnic lunches to Lake Nakuru National park –
famous for the great masses of Flamingos, the white and black rhinos and
buffaloes. Arrive late afternoon at the Lake Nakuru Lodge to refresh.
Afternoon game viewing drive in the park.

Day5/9
MAY 07:
Lake
Nakuru
to Maasai Mara
Early
breakfast at the Lake Nakuru Lodge, 07h00 depart for the Maasai Mara
game reserve arrive for late lunch at the Mara Serena safari lodge- set
on the Saddle of a hill overlooking the Rolling plains, woodlands and
rivers that make up the `Mara Triangle'- one of the Worlds Richest
Wildlife sanctuaries, after lunch continue on the afternoon game viewing
drives.
Dinner
and overnight at the Mara Serena/Sopa safari Lodge.
Day6/
10 MAY 07: Maasai Mara.
Breakfast
at the Mara Serena safari lodge. Full day at the Maasai Mara with
morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Lunch at the lodge, followed
by afternoon game viewing drives across the plains. Vast herds of
wildebeest and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands, their numbers
increasing during the annual migration from the Serengeti national park.
Lion, Leopard and Cheetah follow close behind while Crocodile and Hippo
congregate in the Mara and Talek rivers.

and overnight at the Mara Serena/Sopa safari lodge.
Day7/
11 MAY 07: Maasai Mara to Nairobi onto departure
Distance:

Breakfast
at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge. After breakfast depart back to Nairobi
arriving in the afternoon.
