AMBOSELI AND TSAVO NATIONAL PARKS RNXAS 15

Day 1 Nairobi - Amboseli
The small but beautiful Amboseli National Park is about 150 miles (240 kms) from Nairobi. Two thirds of the journey is on surfaced road driving across the Athi plains home of the proud Masai Tribe, to Amboseli. Lunch and afternoon game viewing in the park with the snow covered peak of Mt.Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain in the background. Dinner and overnight at a lodge in or near the Park.

Day 2 Amboseli - Tsavo
Before breakfast a final game drive can be taken in Amboseli when Mt.Kilimanjaro usually appears from its mantle of clouds. After breakfast drive to Tsavo National Park crossing a dramatic lava flow at the Park boundary. Lunch is followed by a game drive in this, Kenya's largest Park, noted especially for its enormous elephant population.  Dinner and overnight at a lodge in the Park.

Day 3  Tsavo-Nairobi

After breakfast visit Mzima Springs - an oasis where hippo and crocodile can usually be seen. Thereafter have an extensive gamedrive and return to the lodge for check out.  Drive back to Nairobi arriving in the evening.
